The situation is relatively calm today at the contact line between Ukrainian army and DPR people’s militia. One case of shelling of a village of the Republic was registered.
Aleksandrovka village south-west of Donetsk was shelled by Ukrainian army during the night. The enemy fired two types of mortars from positions in Maryinka area. There were no reports of shelling of other places. The calm situation might have to do with the arrival of OSCE Mission Head Alexander Hug to Donetsk with the purpose of inspection of the first disengagement of the forces in the area of Petrovskoye village.
DPR recon reports that ammunition is being delivered to artillery systems illegally used by Ukrainian Armed Forces in the frontline zone. The delivery of phosphorous artillery shells the use of which in populated areas is banned by international conventions to the area of Nikolaevka north of Gorlovka is one of the multiple facts of such violations.
According to updated information, during September 25 Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 131 times. The Ukrainian side fired tanks, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms at frontline areas.
