On the night between August 26 and August 27 Ukrainian artillery shelled Krasnogvardeisky district of Makeevka. At approximately 1 a.m. an artillery shell, presumably, 122mm, hit the yard of “Malysh” (“Baby”) kindergarten № 127. The shell hit the base of the building. The blast wave and shrapnel blasted the windows of the kindergarten and two apartment buildings nearby. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
As the head of Krasnogvardeisky district of Makeevka, Georgy Mutyk, told “Essence of Time” mission member, currently the territory is being cleaned and the consequences of the shelling are being repaired. Broken glass was loaded in several vehicles. Utility services have welded the broken gas pipe.
