“Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki” militants, considered by the U.S. to be among the so-called “moderate opposition”, used chemical gas in Syrian Aleppo on August 2, the Head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides lieutenant-general Sergei Chvarkov stated.
The militants launched the chemical attack against the residential area near in Salah ad-Deen district in the eastern part of Aleppo, from Sukkari district controlled by the militant on August 2 at 19:05. 7 people died as a result of this terrorist attack, 23 were evacuated to hospitals of Aleppo with signs of suffocation and inhalation burns, Chvarkov added.
He also noted that Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides has informed the American side of the fact that militants used chemical gas.
