DPR Ombudswoman: Condition of DPR sappers imprisoned by SBU is highly concerning

DPR Human Rights Ombudswoman Darya Morozova addressed the international organizations, the UN and the Red Cross, asking to inspect the imprisonment conditions of DPR sappers kidnapped by Ukrainian militants.

We are very concerned with the health condition of the guys, according to my information they were first delivered to Mariupol airport, there they had been brutalized, after which they were taken to Mariupol SBU (Security Service of Ukraine – Editor),” the Ombudswoman noted in the commentary sent to Donetsk News Agency today. “I already appealed to the International Red Cross and the UN, so that they would, in turn, visit them.

On June 27 Ukrainian army opened artillery fire at the Shyrokino village in the south of Donbass area where DPR sappers demined the area in coordination with the OSCE. Two people were killed, eight received concussions and were kidnapped by nationalist battalions militants.
