Last night, the Ukrainian military shelled outskirts Yasinovataya by heavy guns, a source in the Defense Ministry of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) informed Donetsk News Agency.
“Yesterday, at 9 PM, the Ukrainian side began the shelling of the industrial area using 122mm guns. 7 shells were fired at this area,” the source said.
According to the source, the enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, the weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, and small arms along with the artillery.
He added that the shelling of the front-line territories of the Republic continued until midnight. From 9 PM until midnight Ukrainian military fired 91 82mm and 120mm mortar shells.
According to the source, the Ukrainian army also shelled Trudovskiye village in the western outskirts of Donetsk, Zaytsevo village, north of Gorlovka, and Sakhanka village of Novoazovsky district in the south of the DPR. Information about destruction is being specified.
The DPR Operational Command also reported that the Ukrainian military fired 440 shells at the front-line territories of the Republic during the past day.
