Two civilians injured in the shelling of Donetsk by Ukrainian military

Two civilians were injured in the shelling of the Kuybyshevky district of Donetsk by the Ukrainian military, a source in the Defense Ministry of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) informed Donetsk News Agency.

At 10 PM, the Ukrainian side began the shelling of the Kuibyshevsky district using 122mm artillery guns injuring two civilians, one is thirty, the other is fifty seven years old, on Stepanenko Street No. 20,” the source said. “Both sustained multiple shrapnel wounds.

According to the source, the enemy shelled from the area near Severnoye village not far from Avdeevka town.

The information about the two victims was confirmed by the Head of Kuibyshevsky district Ivan Prikhodko. According to him, the wounded were hospitalized, their health conditions are reported to be of moderate severity. The Head of the District stated that the direct hits in the houses and a bus were spotted.

Meanwhile, according to the source in the Defense Ministry, a total of three houses in Kirovsky and Kuybyshevsky districts of the capital, as well as a house in Kominternovo village in the south of the Republic, were damaged due to the shelling.
