During the night, the Ukrainian military fired 192 mortar shells at the outskirts of Donetsk city, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk towns, and southern villages of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a source in the DPR Defense Ministry informed Donetsk News Agency.
“From 10 PM till 3.30 AM, the Ukrainian military shelled the outskirts of Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk towns, Trudovskie and Staromikhaylovka villages in the west of Donetsk, Zaytsevo and Shirokaya Balka villages near Gorlovka town, Kominternovo and Leninskoye villages on the southern direction,” the source stated. “A total of 192 82mm and 120mm mortar shells were fired from the enemy positions.“
According to the source, during the shelling, the Ukrainian army also used the weapons of infantry fighting vehicle, anti-tank guided missiles, grenade launchers and small arms along with mortars.
According to the source, a house, No. 68 on Kirov Street in Kominternovo village, was damaged due to the shelling. The civilians were not hurt.
