Gorlovka remains to be the hottest direction of the front. The Ukrainian army occupied 1 kilometer of territory in the buffer zone near Mayorsk town, ‘Essence of Time’ unit reported on their official page in the social networks in the evening of June 13th.
At night, Ukrainian artillery shelled the north of Gorlovka town damaging several residential buildings and a gas pipeline. The situation was tense near Zaytsevo, Zheleznaya Balka, Shirokaya Balka villages and in the area of ‘Gagarin’ (Glubokaya) coal mine. The Ukrainian army shelled opened fire by 122mm heavy artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms.
“The enemy occupied a kilometer of the buffer zone near Mayorsk. Thus, they are a step away from our positions. According to our intelligence, the Ukrainian positions near Zaytsevo were strengthened by the reinforcements composed of 120 militants from the ‘Right Sector’,” the unit added in a statement.
The trench combats were underway near Krasny Partizan village and on the Yasinovatsky sector of the front.
At night, Kuybyshevsky district of Donetsk as well as the outskirts of Dokuchaevsk town were shelled.
According to the Defense Ministry of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), over the past day, one soldier of the DPR Armed Forces was killed.
The unit reported early in the day of June 13th that the Ukrainian military shelled Zaytsevo and Shirokaya Balka located on the outskirts of Gorlovka town.
