Over the night of May 31st – June 1st Ukrainian military fired 38 shells at the western outskirts of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) capital and Kominternovo, Leninskoe villages of Novoazovsky district in the south of Republic, a source in the DPR Defense Ministry informed Donetsk News Agency.
‘From 10.20 PM till 5 AM, the Ukrainian side shelled Kominternovo, Leninskoe villages, Staromikhaylovka township, and the outskirts of ‘Abakumov’ coal mine. A total of 34 82mm and 4 120mm mortar shells were fired at these territories,’ – the source said.
The enemy was shelling from the positions near the occupied Vodyanoe, Shirokino and Krasnogorovka villages. Information about the victims and destruction is being specified.
Over the previous day, the Ukrainian army fired 114 shells at the front-line territories of DPR.
