DPR Defense Ministry: Intensity of the shellings is only increasing

According to the Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian military fired 34 82mm and 120mm mortar shells during the day. Infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, and small arms were also used.

The shellings of the suburbs of Donetsk, Gorlovka, and Yasinovataya town were the heaviest. The outskirts of Dokuchaevsk town, and Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in the south of DPR were also shelled.

On April 27th, five civilians including a pregnant woman were killed in the shelling of “Elenovka” checkpoint. Ten people were injured, two of them are in serious condition. A 15 year-old teenager of had an operation on his shoulder, and a man with multiple abdominal wounds is currently in intensive care.
