Last night Ukrainian army units fired around fifty mortar shells at the outskirts of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Dokuchaevsk, a source in the Defense Ministry of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) informs Donetsk News Agency today.
“The shelling of Zaytsevo village near Gorlovka, the area of former Donetsk airport and Dokuchaevsk town began at 9 PM and ended around midnight. A total of 37 120mm and 12 82mm mortar shells were fired during the shelling,” the spokesman of the Agency said.
According to the source, the enemy was shelling from the positions in occupied Zhovanka, Peski, Opytnoe, and Novotroitskoe villages. Information on casualties and destruction is being specified.
There was information that the Ukrainian military fired almost 400 shells at the front-line territories of DPR on April 13th, 2016.
