Syrian terrorist group “Jabhat al-Nusra” (Organization banned in Russia) will launch an offensive in the next 48 hours, AFP news agency reports.
One of the militant leaders told the agency about the preparation for the offensive. He negatively commented about the operation of Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria and added that without the Russian air strikes “Jabhat en-Nusra” (Organization banned in Russia) would be in Latakia already.
Khmeimim airbase where Russian military aircraft were based is located in Latakia. On March 15 Russia started to withdraw the main group of Aerospace Forces from Syria.
