OSCE Special Monitoring Mission representatives came under fire in Cominternovo village area near Mariupol in Donbass buffer zone. Nobody got hurt, OSCE SMM public affairs office confirmed to RIA Novosti.
“OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine confirms that today, on December 27, 2015, at 11:20, an incident with the use of small arms happened today in the area of Cominternovo. Small arms were fired in the direction of OSCE patrol which inspected the explosion craters,” the Mission statement which was sent to RIA Novosti reads.
“SMM monitors were not hurt, OSCE cars were not damaged. SMM team had to leave the area after the incident,” the statement claims.
A more detailed report is supposed to be published later on Sunday.
