19.12.2015, Crimea.

“Crimea”, a transregional public movement of Crimea Tatar people, stripped the former leaders of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov, as well as the former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea and the owner of ATR TV channel Lenur Islyamov, of the right to speak on behalf of all of the Crimean Tatar people, according to the resolution adopted during the second convention of the movement, TASS reports.

In addition the convention condemned the use of national symbols, the flag, the national emblem and the anthem of the Crimean Tatars. “Crimean Tatar symbols are not bargaining chips for political impostors, nobody gave them the right to unilaterally use our sacred symbols as they wish,” the Chair of the State Committee for International Relations in Crimea Zaur Smirnov ephasized.

The resolution condemns Dzhemilev, Chubarov and Islyamov who had “brought dishonor upon the wise, patient and hard-working people-creator“. “These people are backstabbers, scoundrels and cowards, their backstabbing and harmful deeds will remain in history beyond the national ties“, the resolution reads.
