Kiev junta's militants occupied five villages on the front line

09.12.2015, Donbass.

Donetsk People’s Republic Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin stated that Kiev junta’s militants occupied five villages in the buffer zone at the contact line, mainly in the south of DPR.

Presently, Ukraine’s military forces carry out acts of ‘passive offense’ – capturing villages and forced eviction of local residents from their homes in the buffer zone – namely Pishevik, Pavlopol, Gnutovo, Shirokino, Zhovanka,” he stated.

Eduard Basurin reported that the Defense Ministry of DPR sent letters with these facts to the special representative of the head of OSCE in the Contact Group, Martin Sajdik, as well as the staff of the observation mission. Moreover, he urged the participants of “Normandy Four” negotiations – the leaders of Russia, France and Germany – to pay attention to the actions of the Ukrainian government.

We urge the participants of the” Normandy” format to assess the actions of Kiev and prevent the resumption of full-scale hostilities due to gross violations of the Minsk Agreement by the Kiev junta,” stated Eduard Basurin.
