40th Russian humanitarian convoy has delivered over 670 tons of food products and medical supplies to Donetsk People’s Republic, according to DPR Reconstruction Management Center (RMC) public affairs office, Donetsk News Agency reports.
A total of 52 trucks have arrived, bringing over 670 tons of cargo: tea, sugar, canned meat, fish, milk products, macaroni products, different groat products. Up to 24 tons of medical supplies.
According to RMC, the products which have been delivered today will be distributed to social canteens, hospitals, schools and socially unprotected strata of the population. The Health Ministry is receiving the medical products, it will distribute them.
The unloading of the cargo will happen in Donetsk and Makeevka warehouses. 245 volunteers gathered by DPR’s Ministry of Youth and Sport take part in unloading the cargo.
