The head of Donetsk People’s Republic Aleksandr Zakharchenko is counting on a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass, but is prepared to for any scenario.
One way or another, we are prepared for any scenario. A peaceful scenario is preferred, a political scenario of conflict resolution. But if the citizens of Donetsk People’s Republic will have to defend their lives against the punitive forces, we will defend it. If we will have to return the withdrawn military hardware back to the contact line – we will. We didn’t start this war, but we are capable of ending it.
